Hey! My name is Jessica and I’m the words behind the blog, flora + TIMBER. I’ve always been a fan of words and writing and I’m a borderline unhealthy bookworm.
I spent the first years of my adult life working odd jobs and raising my babies. I’ve worked in education, in office roles, assisting photographers, as a baker, a barista, in customer service, and in the insurance world. Some of these jobs taught me something about my creative side and some of these jobs stifled that part of me!
After the dust settled from the global pandemic, I knew I was done wasting time at anything that stifled my soul. When my youngest kiddo started school in 2023 I really started to dig into what my next chapter would look like. I played around on social media and learned all about SEO (search engine optimization). I took a lot of workshops and classes and just played (because for better or worse- I learn best through experience)….and that brings us to today.
I’ve uncovered a serious passion for supporting creative businesses through the written word. I love to research niche topics, dig into trends, uncover hidden keywords and build out a website’s content to help it grow! I’ve written in the fields of gardening, photography, pregnancy, fashion, travel, and home renovation so far and I’d love to add more! I have experience in the back end of wix, etsy, squarespace, and wordpress. We can craft a solution to make this as hands on OR hands off as you desire.

Will provide a report with ideal client details and 3 months worth of solidly researched keywords for SEO. These phrases will pull ideal clients to anything you have to say online. You can use these phrases for social media, on your website, or blog with them on your own. Report provided within 5 business days of payment.
